Saturday April 26th I had the wonderful privileged to capture a wedding for such a lovely couple.
Honestly, the day was perfect. The perfect weather, a pretty venue, an adorable small town to take pictures in. People honking when we went outside for photos. Lots of love and emotion. So many smiles and laughter. Could you ask for anything more?
And I met these lovely people all because the bride found me on Instagram and asked me to be her photographer.
Even better? My boyfriend (yes, I said boyfriend) came and helped me out in capturing the day.
Enjoy the preview and keep an eye on my website for the rest of the photos to go up!
It’s been a while since I’ve done a cell phone update…so…here’s a montage of cell phone pictures over the past several months.
I’m still living life and enjoy it.
AND seeing someone (long distance, and it sucks). But we can’t talk about that just yet! There’s some details that are getting worked out before I can go in any further.
Valeria is the daughter of a former coworker of mine.
She’s going to be gone the rest of the school year up until graduation for a program, so we HAD to get her senior photos in that weekend otherwise she won’t have any time when she gets back. That girl was SO brave coming out to downtown in summer dresses, in 28 degree weather, and SUPER windy. I was game, and so was she. So away we went.
For as cold as it was and as miserable as we all were with the wind, I’m SO proud of the photos. She’s so gorgeous I couldn’t believe how she wasn’t signed to a model agency yet.
Okay, this session I am SO excited about.
Sarah contacted me about family photos, and I’ve been DYING to do a location that isn’t the conservatory. (Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but I don’t want EVERYONE’s photos to have the same backgrounds, you know? I need variety in my life!) They were super easy going and definitely wanted opinions. So I suggested a coffee shop locale. What’s even more perfect is that the coffee shop we went to was not too far from their home AND it was the CUTEST little shop I’ve ever been in.
Jeremiah’s Brewed Awakenings.
Cute name right?
SO STINKING CUTE.
And awesome drinks. Seriously.
Well, these guys were just so fun. So real. And little Cain was just stealing everyone’s hearts (including the guy I’m seeing…I’ll tell you about him later!). I seriously hope you guys enjoy this preview as much as I enjoyed taking them!
I’ve taken photos for the Ackers before.
They’re so cute, and little Ariana is just a pistol of wonderful energy!
During the winter there aren’t too much options to take pictures indoors, so the Botanical Conservatory is super popular for everyone. You get that outside feel in the middle of January with feet (and I mean FEET) of snow on the ground. Here in Fort Wayne, the conservatory is in middle of downtown close to food, the Embassy and within walking distance to parks and the Art Museum. It’s really cute, and every month they do a different theme. I believe this month is butterflies?
So, we went downtown, to the Botanical Conservatory.
Kids? Not liking the idea of a photo shoot too much.
But we had fun anyway!
So things have been interesting/busy.
Booking weddings left and right- in fact, I just booked my first wedding of 2015 today. 8 weddings total for this year SO FAR, and already requests for other various sessions this year. Honestly, I couldn’t be more excited or grateful. Even though I’m struggling to pay bills after loosing my job in November, other aspects in my life are taking place and going forward. Cool?
(Know someone getting married? Send them to my website!)
I DO need to update my blog with pictures, but other things are taking my attentions first. I’ll get to it, eventually. Promise!
Until then, go to my website! Send people my way. I’m so excited for spring to actually SPRING so that sessions can go in full force, send me some love.
Have such a wonderful day!
