You might not remember back to this last fall, but I took pictures of Isaac and his little family before he turned three…AND to announce that they were expecting their second.
Isaac is a ball of energy and so incredibly smart. You nearly use up two days worth of energy in just a couple of hours to get through a shoot with him, but honestly? I LOVE the conversations I have with him. He’s adorable. His parents are adorable and the sweetest. And now his brother is 100% as adorable as they all are!
I’m hoping he’s just as energetic and amazing as his big brother.

Okay, this session I am SO excited about.
Sarah contacted me about family photos, and I’ve been DYING to do a location that isn’t the conservatory. (Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but I don’t want EVERYONE’s photos to have the same backgrounds, you know? I need variety in my life!) They were super easy going and definitely wanted opinions. So I suggested a coffee shop locale. What’s even more perfect is that the coffee shop we went to was not too far from their home AND it was the CUTEST little shop I’ve ever been in.
Jeremiah’s Brewed Awakenings.
Cute name right?
SO STINKING CUTE.
And awesome drinks. Seriously.
Well, these guys were just so fun. So real. And little Cain was just stealing everyone’s hearts (including the guy I’m seeing…I’ll tell you about him later!). I seriously hope you guys enjoy this preview as much as I enjoyed taking them!
I’ve taken photos for the Ackers before.
They’re so cute, and little Ariana is just a pistol of wonderful energy!
During the winter there aren’t too much options to take pictures indoors, so the Botanical Conservatory is super popular for everyone. You get that outside feel in the middle of January with feet (and I mean FEET) of snow on the ground. Here in Fort Wayne, the conservatory is in middle of downtown close to food, the Embassy and within walking distance to parks and the Art Museum. It’s really cute, and every month they do a different theme. I believe this month is butterflies?
Words…there are no words.
I’m beyond excited!
Being a traveling photographer is amazing. And I can’t wait to expand.
Share this? That would be incredible!
While I’m sitting here on this confusingly dreary morning (rain clouds but radar shows absolutely nothing?) pondering what I should eat for breakfast and when I want to go to the grocery store, and when I want to finish cleaning the apartment AND wondering when AJ is going to wake up to let me know that they’re heading back home…
I realized I never posted the pictures from my cousin Ryan’s graduation party.
A while ago my uncle asked me to bring my camera to the party to take pictures for them so that they could enjoy the day. No big deal at all. So AJ and I went, camera in tow, we loaded up on food and I scarfed mine down so I could go take pictures. And for once, I actually had people take pictures of me with family as well (because this NEVER happens). Enjoyable? You bet. It was nice seeing a lot of people there, and it was even nicer to see Ryan so incredibly happy.
[I do have Ryan’s senior photos posted up on my blog here somewhere…]
He’s a good kid, smart, easy on the eyes and I’m more than sure that college is going to be an amazing experience for him. He’s excited, and that makes me excited.
So here’s some of the pictures that were taken during his party!
(if you haven’t figured it out, I’m the lady in the orange dress and funky styled hair)
(also, I have strange family. But they’re the best)
(and those little girls in a few of those pictures AJ absolutely adores. It’s too cute :])
I suppose I really should get started on the many things that I should probably get started on.
